UI Automation Support: UI automation support is now available in PDF-XChange Editor for both the application UI and document content. Text-Editing Improvements: A range of improvements have been made to the process of Text-Editing in V9 of PDF-XChange Editor, including the ability to make soft returns and utilize RTL (right-to-left) text. Recompress Images: Recompress Images have been added in version 9 which makes it possible to recompress document images according to a range of customizable settings. Advanced Macros Added to Bookmarks Plugin: New macros are now available in the Bookmarks dialog boxes that provide dynamic options for these features. Text is recognized at a far higher degree of accuracy and more than 190 languages, including Arabic and Hebrew, are now supported for this feature. Updated Enhanced OCR Engine: The Enhanced OCR engine in PDF-XChange Editor has been updated to ABBYY Finereader, which is a significant improvement from the previous OCR engine. It is now possible to perform Accessibility checks, tag documents, determine reading order, and much more. PDF Accessibility Functionality: Accessibility features have been added in V9 of PDF-XChange Editor, which is now compliant with the PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility) ISO standard. Added the ability to export snapshots to an image directly from the context menu. Added the ability to remove broken\invalid Named Destinations. Added a feature for Comparing two PDF Documents (RibbonUI > Review > Compare Documents).
